Abstract submission has ended.

Preparing your abstract

The maximum length for abstracts is one page.
For each session presentation (poster or oral) an abstract must be submitted.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the report series of Aalto University under the name Proceedings of the LI Annual Conference of the Finnish Physical Society and on the program page, if acceptable to the submitter.

When submitting your abstract, you may include one of the following categories as a suggestion for the program committee.

  1. Astrophysics, cosmology and subatomic physics
  2. Soft matter and biophysics
  3. Quantum technology
  4. Atomic and molecular physics
  5. Applied physics and instrumentation
  6. Optical physics
  7. Cluster and nucleation physics
  8. Computational physics
  9. Surface physics
  10. Condensed matter theory
  11. Physics education research

LaTeX abstracts

Use the following templates when preparing your abstract:

Compile your LaTeX abstracts to EPS format using the command dvips -E -o file.eps file.dvi. If your EPS file is large (i.e. several megabytes) please compress it using gzip or WinZip before submission.

Word abstracts

Use the following template when preparing your abstract:

The abstract may be submitted as a Word document, but it is highly recommended to export it as a PDF file. This helps in compiling the event proceedings.
